Body Found in Burning Truck in Wheatland Identified

The Kenosha County Medical Examiner has identified the body found in a burning truck on Friday in Wheatland. 64 year old Paul Hoffman was identified through dental records. Employees at Best Bargains found the truck, fully engulfed in flames, when they arrived for work about 7:30 a.m. Someone was in the driver’s seat, and the workers attempted to remove the person from the truck but were unable to do so. The engine compartment and cab of the truck were burned in the fire. The body was sent for an autopsy to determine cause of death. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
