Car Crashes Into Historic House

A crash launched an SUV into a house during rush hour Monday evening. According to Kenosha Police, the crash just after 5:30 sent two women to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The historic stone house in the 1800 block of 75th Street sustained serious damage, and electricity and gas had to be cut off  . Kenosha Fire Department Battalion Chief Matt Haerter, a handful of neighbors said the young driver of the vehicle seemed dazed, but not seriously injured. He received multiple tickets, but was not arrested.
