Cleaning Crews Find Abandoned Weapons

Two men from a cleaning crew working on a vacant apartment in Kenosha found a gun and what they believed was cocaine left in the unit. The men called police Thursday after they found a gun submerged in a bathtub, along with a crack pipe and white powder in small plastic baggies. Kenosha Police said the gun turned out to be a pellet gun. The white powder appeared to be cocaine, but tested negative for presence of the drug. No other information was available Friday as the investigation is ongoing.
