Elmhurst Woman Killed in Crash

A 28-year-old Elmhurst woman died in a crash on Interstate 94 late Monday night. According to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, Maureen Ohler was driving south near Highway 142 just after 11 p.m. when she struck a concrete wall and came to rest in one of the traffic lanes on the bridge over Highway 142. Moments later a second vehicle, driven by David Ebner, of Kenosha, struck Ohler’s vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office. Ebner and his two passengers were taken to a Kenosha hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No other details were available on Tuesday as the crash remains under investigation.
