Father and Young Daughter Struck by Drunk Driver in Caledonia

CALEDONIA, Wis. (AP) — A father and his 9-year-old daughter died after their vehicle was rear-ended by a man who police believe was drunk behind the wheel. Police say 39-year-old Kevin Dalley and his daughter, Emily Dalley, were killed Friday. The driver of the pickup truck who rear-ended them, identified as Levi Ruohonen, was arrested on two counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle. Police say 25-year-old man has a prior drunken-driving conviction. The Kevin and Emily Dalley Memorial College Fund, has been set up by a cousin of the family. All the money will be given to Kevin’s wife, Jenn, and his two daughters’ college and life expenses. Since the site has been set up, it has garnered over $18,000 of their $30,000 goal.
