Kenosha Aldermen Want Feds to Investigate KCHC

Three Kenosha aldermen want the City Council to request a federal investigation into the Kenosha Community Health Center, adding fuel to the fire in a tense relationship between community leaders and the nonprofit meant to assist low-income residents. According to Alderman Kevin Mathewson, the scrutiny is a result of the organization’ unwillingness to address some very specific and important questions.  If passed by the City Council tonight, the city will formally request that the Health Resources and Services Administration — which oversees federally funded health centers — open an investigation into the community center.
