Kenosha Man Charged With Battery in Grabbing Case

A Kenosha man is accused of inappropriately touching a food service worker at the Lake County Jail. 49 year old Darin Chansky has reportedly worked at the Lake County Jail as a correctional officer for 22 years. On Monday he appeared in court on a battery charge. Chansky is alleged to have grabbed the female food worker on her posterior and made an inappropriate sexual gesture to her. The Lake County Sheriff’s Department received the complaint in January and charges were filed last week. Chansky is on leave pending an internal administrative investigation. He was released on a signature bond.
