Kenosha May Expand Bus Service

Kenosha may soon be expanding its bus service. Kenosha Mayor John Antaramian said in a Transit Forum Thursday that the 8-point-2 million dollars that would have been used for streetcar expansion could be repurposed so that the city’s bus routes could be extended and run as late as midnight. A state grant could also be used over a three year expansion period. Alternate sources of funding may also be needed, such as an increase to the gas or sales tax.
