Kenosha Sheriff’s Department Honors 16

The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department honored 16 people Tuesday for their service to the department and to the community in the annual department awards ceremony. Sheriff Dave Beth said the awards honored officers and residents “that stand out just a little bit more” for their actions in the community. The awards included the Sheriff’s Award, Certificates of Merit, Life Saving Awards and the Bronze Star. Winners included deputies and corrections officers, a Zion police officer, a jail chaplain and two residents who stepped in to try to save lives.
