KUSD, KEA Agree to New Contract

Kenosha Unified has ratified a new contract with its teachers. The board passed the new contract unanimously. It gives teachers a 1.26% percent raise in base pay based on the Consumer Price Index, which is the maximum allowed under state law. The agreement is for one year retroactive to July 1st and will be in effect until the end of June next year.
