Kwik Trip Buys 40 Acres Near I-94

An operator of convenience stores has purchased approximately 40 acres of land at the Interstate 94 and Highway S. LaCrosse-based Kwik Trip acquired the land for $3.9 million and is planning to open a gas station and retail store on about 10 acres of the property. According to Hans Zietlow, director of real estate at Kwik Trip, the company wanted to build a travel center on the interstate and looked at every intersection from Milwaukee to the state line. The entire parcel will likely be developed in 2018.
