Local Ballot Recount Wrapping Up

Kenosha County’s presidential ballot hand recount is wrapping up, well before the Monday deadline. County Clerk Mary Schuch-Krebs said there have been only a few dozen miscounted ballots, mainly from people who wrote in conservative Evan McMullin. In the end, she believes President-elect Donald Trump will remain the clear winner of Kenosha County. More than 77,000 local ballots cast are being recounted. Statewide, the Wisconsin Elections Commission said that no significant issues had been reported and that all counties were on track to meet the deadline next week.
