Local Ballots Set After Spring Primary

Tuesday was Primary Election Day in Wisconsin. Locally, there were few races in Kenosha County. In Somers, all three of the incumbents on the Village Board advanced to the April General Election. However two of the challengers on the ballot-Lee Broadway and Chaz Media- ended in a tie with seven percent of the vote. The votes will be certified Friday when the tie will be resolved. There was also a primary held in Salem Lakes for Village Board, where three votes made the difference for the last spot on the ballot.
