Man Charged for Home Invasion

A man who pushed his way into a neighbor’s apartment and threatened three people inside with a knife is facing charges of armed robbery. 56-year-old Michael Henricksen is facing charges of  attempted armed robbery, intimidation of a victim, trespassing and resisting arrest. According to court records, Henricksen knocked on the door of an apartment in the 2500 block of 18th Street, and when the people inside opened it, he showed a knife and pushed his way inside. The residents were able to call police, and when officers arrived, Henricksen reportedly fought back. An officer suffered a scrape to his knee during the altercation with Henricksen, and a second officer sprained his toe.
