Man Seriously Injured in Burlington Crash

A 55-year-old Burlington man was seriously injured in a drunken-driving crash on Friday. According to the Racine County Sheriff’s Department, the man crashed his vehicle into a ditch in the 88-hundred block of McHenry Street in the town of Burlington just before midnight Friday, rolling the vehicle at least once. Fire and rescue crews from Wheatland, Twin Lakes and the town and city of Burlington fire departments responded to the scene and worked on the rescue, as the victim had to be extricated from the vehicle. The man was taken by Flight for Life helicopter to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa. He remains in serious condition.
