Man Severely Injured In Two Car Crash

A Kenosha man is severely injured after a Friday crash, however he is expected to survive. The accident happened Friday morning shortly before noon on Sheridan Road near 69th street. A man in a Jeep was driving southbound before he reportedly hit a vehicle and then crashed into a tree. No one else was injured. The Jeep then caught fire. The man survived the crash because bystanders were able to put the fire out in part with a fire extinguisher from a nearby school bus. The man was taken by Flight For Life to a Milwaukee hospital.
