Some voters cross to other party for this election

UNDATED (AP) — Across the country, today, Clinton voters are generally describing their candidate as better qualified. Trump backers are saying he would break with politics as usual.

But some are crossing party lines for other reasons.

One Republican woman in New Jersey who voted for Hillary Clinton said of Trump, “I can’t vote for someone who’s so morally reprehensible.” A West Virginia man who says he’s a Democrat was voting for Trump, saying it’s time for “fresh blood” in the White House.”

A New York man who describes himself as a “Bernie person” says he bit the bullet and cast his vote for Clinton, saying he thinks she’ll “try her best to bring the country together.”
