11 Arrested, Cited In Prostitution Sting

PLEASANT, PRAIRIE, WI (WLIP)–The Pleasant Prairie Police Department recently conducted an undercover operation to identify persons seeking to meet prostitutes through online advertisements.

The reverse sting operation arrested 11 individuals aged 25 to 62.

Most individuals received citations costing more than $2,500 for Soliciting a Prostitute but some were criminally charged due to other contributing factors.

Most of the men were from Kenosha and Lake Counties.

The operation aimed to bring awareness to human trafficking and those arrested were given information on how human trafficking relates to prostitution.
