20-Year-Old Man Killed in Mount Pleasant

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (AP) — A 20-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle on a highway in southeastern Wisconsin. According to police, the crash took place early Sunday morning on Highway 32 in Mount Pleasant. Racine County Medical Examiner Michael Payne told The Journal Times that his office was called to the scene about 4 a.m. The crash shut down the highway for several hours while Mount Pleasant Police and the State Patrol collected evidence. A spokesman said the name of the victim was not available Sunday afternoon.
