39-Year-Old Zion Man Dies After Targeted Shooting Early Friday Morning

Zion, IL (WLIP)–A 39-year-old man, Eric Irvin, was fatally shot early Friday morning in Zion, with the shooting believed to have targeted his home.
On August 9, 2024, at around 2:40 a.m., Zion Police found Irvin with gunshot wounds; he died at the hospital.
The Major Crime Task Force and Zion Police are investigating the incident.
