5 Teens Arrested With Alleged Stolen Car

(Crystal Lake, IL)  Five Lake County teens were arrested after fleeing a stolen car in McHenry County. The incident took place on Monday when Sheriff’s officials ran the plate of a vehicle that came back as stolen from Pleasant Prairie.

Six people fled from the car as authorities approached near Crystal Lake, and five were eventually taken into custody. 19-year-old Zishon Hunt of Zion, the alleged driver, is facing the most serious charges, including possession of a stolen vehicle, aggravated fleeing and eluding, obstruction and more.

Three other 19-year-olds and a 15-year-old (from Waukegan, Beach Park and Zion) face resisting arrest charges. The 6th suspect has not been caught.
