Arrests Made In “Flash Mob” Robbery
PLEASANT PRAIRIE—Two Chicago men are in custody in connection with the so-called “flash mob” robbery from earlier this month.
Security footage of 10 people entering the North Face Store on 108th Street in Pleasant Prairie on July 1st, and stealing 30-thousand dollars worth of merchandise in less than 30 seconds before fleeing, received nationwide attention.
Yesterday, 28 year old Bernard Stratton and 25 year old Jerrod Brim were arrested and now face felony theft charges as a repeat offender.
Six arrests warrants were issued in connection with the case. No other arrests have been made.
Pleasant Prairie Police say the case was cracked as a result of dedicated police work, community cooperation, and the partnership with Chicago Police.
