“Bjorn Way” Sign to be Unveiled

KENOSHA, WI–Kenosha will unveil a new street sign honoring the late Mike Bjorn, the longtime downtown business owner who passed away earlier this year.
A social media led effort made its way to the city council, who approved the new signage in August for several blocks of 6th Avenue. The street sign signaling “Mike Bjorn Way” will be for the blocks between 54th and 56th streets.
An unveiling ceremony will be held this Friday afternoon at 4 PM on the southeast corner of 6th Avenue and 54th Street. City officials say that everyone is invited to attend the event.
