Boy Thrown From Antioch Carnival Ride, Airlifted to Hospital

(Antioch, IL) A 10-year-old boy was flown to the hospital after being thrown out of a ride at the Taste of Antioch carnival. The incident took place on Sunday afternoon and led to the closure of all rides for the remainder of the day. A GoFundMe for the boy says he was airlifted to not one, but two hospitals for treatment, and though an official condition has not been released by authorities or relatives, he is expected to require surgery.
