Buffalo Grove Man Arrested for Selling MDMA and Cannabis After Joint Investigation

Waukegan, IL (WLIP)—A Buffalo Grove man was arrested for allegedly selling MDMA and other drugs following a joint investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Group (SIG) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
On Wednesday authorities executed a search warrant at the home of 33 year old Zans Batjuks, allegedly uncovering over 315 grams of MDMA, 15 ecstasy pills, cocaine, and more than 5,200 grams of cannabis.
Batjuks, of the 400 block of Castlewood Lane, was charged with multiple felonies, including two counts of manufacturing ecstasy and cannabis delivery.
He remained in custody at the Lake County Jail, pending an initial court hearing.
