KENOSHA, WI–The new Kenosha City Budget proposal will be hitting aldermans’ desks a little bit later under a new ordinance change.

Under the Keith Bosman administration, the budget had to be sent to the city council by the first week in October.

17th district Alderman David Bogdala told WLIP’s Wake Up Kenosha that city officials will not know about what state funding is coming until at least next month so the city has to change the budget deadline now.

After coming to the council, the proposal will go through the various committees before coming up for an official vote.
