City to Purchase Downtown Buildings

The city of Kenosha is set to purchase a handful of downtown buildings in need of repairs and business. The City Council unanimously approved $7.9 million dollars to finance projects in Tax Incremental District No. 4, which covers much of downtown. Officials said it is not yet clear which buildings will be purchased or when.
