KENOSHA, WI–The City of Kenosha is another step closer to its new Downtown Vision Plan.
Kenosha officials announced ambitious plans last fall that includes tearing down old buildings-including the current Municipal Building-and building new facilities and amenities.
17th District Alderman David Bogdala told WLIP’s Wake Up Kenosha that the centerpiece of the new development will be for public use.
The City Plan Commission took up various items last week-such as the proper rezoning measures-to move the plan forward. Bogdala says that downtown is at another new beginning.
A TIF district to help fund the project awaits Kenosha Common Council approval.
