Dreaming of a White Halloween

KENOSHA, WI—Kenoshans weren’t dreaming of a white Halloween, it was reality. Mother Nature played a nasty trick-or treat for snow lovers-as more than 5 inches fell, especially on grassy areas in Kenosha, according to the National Weather Service.
Areas farther west received more-such as Elkhorn where more than seven inches of the white stuff fell. Temps bottomed out overnight but highs should be around 40 today.
