Drug Induced Homicide Arrest

(Waukegan, IL)  A Park City man is facing charges in the death of a Lake Villa woman.

Earl Epps is accused of delivering a heroin/fentanyl mix to Tara Garcia back on October the 4th. The 47-year-old took the drug believing it to be just heroin, and later died of an overdose.

An investigation connected Epps to the delivery and the 41-year-old was arrested at his residence on October 29th.

He now faces charges of drug induced homicide, unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, and witness intimidation.

Epps is currently being held in the Lake County Jail on a 1-million-dollar bond.
