Election Results Could Take Time

The results of Tuesday’s election could take some time. Because absentee ballots can be counted until April 13th-as long as they were postmarked by April 7th-the final results may not be known for a while. Several local contested races were up for grabs on Tuesday’s ballot, including aldermanic, county board, and school board races, as was the statewide Supreme Court race.
