Fire Officials Preach Fireworks Safety

KENOSHA, WI–The Fourth of July is upon us and Kenosha Fire officials are again reminding residents to be careful in their festivities. Kenosha Fire Chief Chuck Leipzig told WLIP’s Wake Up Kenosha that there’s a simple rule to remember when it comes to fireworks.
Violators can be fined and their fireworks may be confiscated. Leipzig says that fines can be in excess of $200.
