Fuller’s Defense Seeks “Reverse Waiver”

KENOSHA, WI–The attorney for a Kenosha teen accused of murdering a former girlfriend has filed a motion to move the case to juvenile court.
16 year old Martice Fuller is charged as an adult in the murder of Kaylie Juga with first degree intentional homicide.
Under Wisconsin law that serious charge sends a teen automatically to adult court. However defendants can ask for a “reverse waiver” to the juvenile system. That request was made Friday. The waiver hearing is set for the end of next month.
Fuller is alleged to have shot and killed Juga in her bedroom after sneaking into her house. Juga’s mother was also shot but survived the May 9th incident.
Fuller’s trial is scheduled to begin early next year.
