Gurnee Man Flees Police, Captured

(Gurnee, IL)  The Lake County Sheriff’s Office say a man is likely to face charges, after fleeing from authorities.

Officials say the man was approached by a deputy serving an order of protection on Monday afternoon. As part of that order, the man had to surrender his guns, which he claimed he didn’t have. The man then fled in his vehicle, eventually crashing into a nearby tree…and giving himself up when he caught sight of a K9 officer.

The unidentified subject ended up having the weapons he claimed not to have…no charges have yet been filed.
