Il Reports 14 New Covid-19 Deaths; Infection Rate Trending Down

CHICAGO, IL (WLIP)–Illinois announced 14 new deaths from the Coronavirus on Monday, none of which were in Lake County.
The downward trend of percentages continues as well, with the state’s positive infection rate now hovering right around 9%.
Hospitalizations did tick up slightly, but the bulk of the rise is in Chicago…and overall those numbers remain well below late April highs.
