Illinois Limo Driver Arrested After Allegedly Fleeing Police & Biting Officer

Pleasant Prairie, WI (WLIP)–A 37-year-old limousine driver from Round Lake Park, was arrested after allegedly fleeing from Pleasant Prairie police during a traffic stop for a registration violation.

The incident unfolded Monday afternoon around 3:39 p.m. Bradley R. Semrich is accused of leading officers on a chase, crashing into a ditch, and fleeing on foot into a wooded area.

Police, with the help of a K-9 unit, eventually apprehended Semrich after a struggle in which he allegedly bit an officer.

Police reports say a search of his vehicle uncovered methamphetamine, leading to multiple felony charges, including drug trafficking and assaulting an officer.

Semrich is being held on a $55,000 bond.
