Ingleside Stabbing Suspect To Get Mental Evaluation

(Waukegan, IL) An Ingleside woman accused of randomly stabbing another woman in front of her child, has made an appearance in court.
Marquette Owens will now undergo a mental evaluation before any further proceedings take place. Owens is facing attempted murder and other charges for the October 21st incident in the Grant Woods Forest Preserve.
The victim of the stabbing suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, her child was unhurt.
The 60-year-old Owens is currently being held on a 750-thousand-dollar bond.
