Kenosha, WI (WLIP)–A Kenosha County judge has rejected a request to drop charges against a former Kenosha Unified teacher accused of sending inappropriate messages to a student.
Christian J. Enwright, facing 22 counts of disorderly conduct, is alleged to have sent hundreds of Snapchat messages to a student while teaching at K-Tech.
Enwirght’s defense argued that the charges were too broad, but the judge ruled that disorderly conduct covers a wide range of actions.
Enwright, who pleaded not guilty, is out on a $5,000 bond.
His jury trial is set for April of next year.
