Kenosha AFL-CIO Names Geri Cucunato and Kelly Fonk 2024 Labor Persons of the Year

Kenosha, WI (WLIP)–The Kenosha AFL-CIO Council has named Geri Cucunato and Kelly Fonk as the 2024 Labor Persons of the Year for their outstanding contributions to the community and labor movement.
Cucunato, a long-time council member, has led initiatives like drone purchases for the fire department and charity fundraisers.
Fonk, a 25-year firefighter, has been a strong advocate for public safety and healthcare accessibility.
They were honored at the annual Laborfest Monday at Pennoyer Park.
