When: Monday, Nov. 11th, breakfast at 7:45am followed by an assembly at 9 a.m.

What: Salem Consolidated Grade School Veterans Day Program
When Monday, Nov. 11, 9 to 9:30 a.m.
Where: 8828 Antioch Road, Salem (Enter North Gym through Door #11)
Note: The school would like to extend the invitation to all veterans. A reception for veterans and

What: American Legion Post 21, American Legion Family Veterans Day Celebration
When: Monday, Nov. 11, 9:30 a.m. to noon. Flanders Field Ceremony at 10:45 a.m.; Rendering
of Honors at 11 a.m. sharp; coffee and doughnuts before the ceremony and a light lunch at 11:15.

What: Veterans Day Program at the Civil War Museum, presented by Navy Club Ship 40
When: Monday, Nov. 11, 11 a.m.
Where: Civil War Museum, Freedom Hall, 5400 First Ave, Kenosha
Note: Navy Club Ship 40 will present a program representing all branches of service to commemorate Veterans Day. Plus, the museum will offer free admission for veterans and active- duty military on Nov. 11.
What: VFW Post 1865 Veterans Day Celebration Events
When: Monday, Nov. 11, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: 6618 39th Ave, Kenosha
Note: VFW Post 1865 will host a variety of events on Veterans Day; kicking off with a Veterans
Ceremony. A beef stew lunch will be provided by the post, followed by a flag retirement
ceremony at 1 p.m.
What: Kenosha Area Vietnam Veterans Ceremony
When: Monday, Nov. 11, noon

What: Shoreland Lutheran High School Veterans Day Ceremony
When: Monday, Nov. 11, 2:15 p.m.
Where: 9026 12th St, Somers
Note: Special guest speaker Jesse Konell who is a recently retired Master Chief in the US Navy.
The event will also include a presentation of colors from American Legion Post 552, and a light
