Kenosha Co. Executive Samantha Kerkman Names Two To Racial and Ethnic Equity Commission

KENOSHA, WI (WLIP)–Kenosha County Executive Samantha Kerkman has named two people to the county’s Racial and Ethnic Equity Commission.

Retired Kenosha Police officer and former Kenosha County Sheriff’s candidate Brian Gonzalez and Attorney Xavier Solis will serve on the commission pending county board approval.

According to the county, the commission was established in 2021 to “realize greater racial equity and dismantle racism in Kenosha County.”
