Kenosha Common Council to Consider 2023 Budget This Week
KENOSHA, WI (WLIP)–One of the final pieces that determine property tax bills will be in place this week.
The Kenosha Common Council will meet Tuesday to consider next year’s budget and capital improvements before the 2023 tax levy is set.
That would mean property tax bills would be in mail by early December. Kenosha County tax dollars go to several layers of government depending on where you live but can include municipal, county, and the school district.
The Kenosha County Board and Kenosha Unified approved their budgets weeks ago-however Kenosha County is set to come to an agreement on bonding for several important projects.
Tuesday’s meeting at the Kenosha Municipal Building begins at 5 PM and opens with a public hearing on the proposed budget.
