KENOSHA- Cooling centers open to the public are available to help people stay safe during extreme heat, including this week with temperatures forecasted to be above 90 degrees.

Cooling centers are available throughout Kenosha County.

Northside Library, 1500 27th Ave.: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

The library is closed on Sundays and on Labor Day.

Southwest Library, 7979 38th Ave.: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
