Kenosha County Juvenile Arrests Down

The number of juveniles arrested in Kenosha County continued to fall in 2015, dropping to nearly 41 percent over the last four years. According to the annual Kenosha County Juvenile Justice Report, presented Friday, the number of teens arrested in 2015 countywide fell to 1,457, that’s down by nearly 300 from the previous year, and 1,000 from three years ago. According to Mary Beier, director of juvenile court intake, the county and Wisconsin have followed a national trend in showing declines in juvenile crime.
