Kenosha Kingfish Set to Open Season This Week

KENOSHA, WI (WLIP)—The Kenosha Kingfish finally return to action Wednesday night to open the season against their new opponent…the K-Town Bobbers. The fish will play their entire season against the Bobbers at Historic Simmons Field.

However like most places during the pandemic, the feel will be just a little bit different in the ballpark. Groups of fans will be seated at a distance from each other and masks will be required in all common areas of the ballpark, although not when you’re in your seats.

Kingfish General Manager Doug Gole told WLIP’s Wake Up Kenosha that a number of precautions will be in place.

The Kingfish have released a video on what to expect at the ballpark this year.
