KENOSHA, WI–The city of Kenosha years old suit brought by its former IT provider may soon be coming to an end.

In closed session last night, the Kenosha City Council apparently discussed a settlement with their former contractor. The suit was brought by Com Sys for 2 million dollars.

The case stretches back several years when Com Sys officials say that their contract was improperly dropped and alleged wrongdoing by then City Administrator Frank Pacetti.

A former Com Sys employee left the company to work for the city at that time as well.

No criminal charges were ever filed in the case. It’s unclear how much the city could spend settling the suit.
