Kenosha Officials Hoping KCHC Officials Appear Tonight

Former employees of the Kenosha Community Health Center are urging the public, especially current or former patients of the center, to attend the next meeting of the Kenosha Common Council (this evening). On the agenda will be a public hearing regarding concerns about operations of the health center at its 14th Avenue and 22nd Avenue locations. As of yesterday, legal orders to appear at the meeting addressed to Mary Coffey, acting executive director, and KCHC Board President William Roberts, have yet to be served. According to 17thDistrict Alderman David Bogdala, even if they do not attend, the agenda item has been noticed as a public hearing, so anyone who wishes to speak on the topic of the KCHC will be given the floor.
