Kenosha Police Chief Completes Leadership Program
Kenosha, WI (WLIP)—Kenosha Police Chief Patrick Patton has completed an elite leadership program at the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Command College, joining a select group of fewer than 350 law enforcement executives who have earned the certification.
The six-week residential program, a collaboration between the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Wisconsin Department of Justice, combines intensive leadership training with public management certification.
Participants attend classes in five-day blocks at the Wisconsin State Patrol Academy at Fort McCoy.
The program prepares law enforcement leaders to address contemporary challenges in their communities while earning their Certified Public Manager credentials.
Patton plans to implement his new training at the Kenosha Police Department.
