KENOSHA, WI–Kenosha County Executive Jim Kreuser delivered his budget priorities to the County Board Tuesday night.
The budget includes a pay increase for Kenosha County Sheriff Deputies which is aimed at closing the wage disparity between that office and other law enforcement agencies in the area.
Kreuser says that they have been losing deputies to those other departments.
There is also a 2% across the board wage increase for a Joint Services employees.
As far as infrastructure goes, expanding Highway S is a major capital expenditure as well as road repair and replacing old highway equipment.
Property taxes will increase by more than $8 for a median home, valued at $188,000.
