Lake Villa Woman Arrested for License Issue, Outstanding Warrants

(Waukegan, IL) A Lake Villa woman that was arrested on a traffic violation, is now sitting behind bars.
Lake County Sheriff’s officials say Valerie Carey was stopped on October 15th for driving on a suspended license near Gurnee. Authorities ran the 49-year-old’s information, which showed outstanding warrants from Wisconsin for failing to register as a sex offender, and a parole violation.
Carey was transported to the Lake County Jail, where bond was set at 1-million-dollars. She’s due in court next week.
